Crack sealer stuff??

Okay, I've been welding in new floor pans and rockers and stuff. As I've been cutting this stuff out, I've noticed that originally the factory had many of the cracks and seams filled with some kind of sealer.

What is that stuff and where can I get it? When I get done I'd like to seal them back up ya know.

Re: Crack sealer stuff??

Look for something by 3M. Drip check or seam sealer, etc.

Re: Crack sealer stuff??

I use "3M All-Around" auto body seam sealer. It fits in a regular caulking gun. It's paintable too. SILICONE IS NOT!!! All real auto body seam sealer dries very fast so think ahead.
