cowl hoods disappeared?
What is the deal, i phoned two of my suppliers for sheetmetal to get a cowl hood for my 68 and parts canada and goodmark industries no longer sell them, no part numbers whatso ever, frustrating, now not sure what to do. any one have some info on this at all, because i really did not want to pay full retail from brothers and ship it here....even if they can get them, thanks james

Re: cowl hoods disappeared?
Classic Parts and Year one ($$$$) sell like 1"- 2 1/2" cowls but I'm sure theya are pricey. Harwood makes decent ones (mostly fiberglass i think). My boss hand rolled the cowl on my truck. I really wanted a 3" and I have the Hardest time trying to find one. Are you looking for steel or fiberglass? If you come across a 3" let me know, I'll buy one too!! lol

Re: cowl hoods disappeared?
Goodmark no longer sells Tri-Plus.Maybe their new supplier doesn`t make cowl induction hoods.

Re: cowl hoods disappeared?
Hey Mike, Do you have a store in Webster or is it a warehouse for mail order only? I live in the Woodlands (N. Houston), and Wouldn't mind making a trip there and picking up some stuff

Re: cowl hoods disappeared?
I'm going to need one for my '68...so maybe we can team up and get a better deal? There's suppose to be a parts warehouse in Richardson somewhere (from CL) that carries them.

Thanks a bunch. I'll probably be driving my '69 up there in the next few weeks. Are you usually in? and I'm sure you have most of everything in stock? Hoods and such?

Re: cowl hoods disappeared?
We keep these hoods in stock and currently have 4-67-68, and 4 69-72 cowl hoods in stock, average shipping cost to 75%-80% of the USA is $109.00 to a commercial business address, which can be the place you work, freinds work or business, shop you plan on painting hood, etc... it just can't be a business operated from home.
