Re: Bucket seat floor support

I would think eventually you would have a buyer for this part. I don't think these are being sold by aftermarket vendors. JMHO

Re: Bucket seat floor support

Sorry about the confusion, this support is on the underside of the floor and adds support to the are of the floor where the front of the bucket seats bolt down. I will get a pic if possible- the tub is off the frame and sitting an a trailer. I will have to lift it up to get a pic but I will.

My guess is that they are all the same, just the seats are different.

Re: Bucket seat floor support

I just put one of these in my truck to mount my buckets, it's worth saving this brace and also all of the nut plates that are welded to the bottom of the floor pan. The bench seats mount in a different location.

Re: Bucket seat floor support

Here are a few pics. It looks like this truck was undercoated, some surface rust but very solid.

Re: Bucket seat floor support

These do have to be modified slightly to fit a pickup. I just sold a Blazer set to a customer of mine and he had to cut the ends off and fab up new ones. They will work, but do require some alterations. WES

I have one that I took of my truck, not sure if the pics help but they are in my build thread in the last few pages of when I cut my old floor out.

Re: Bucket seat floor support

Thanks msgross- I didnt see any major differences?

I guess there is "some" modification required to use this in a truck, just dont know exactly what.
I will remove center brace and nut plates from old floor to keep shipping down. I can also glass bead blast nut plates to remove surface rust if you would like.

This support will work in your truck w/ "some" modification. The problem is I dont know exactly what has to be modified. I am only passing along info from another member. I am going to research this and see what I can come up with.
$70 to your door.
