Cam Guide?

I need to find out more about cams. Is there a guide somewhere? With sounds? I want a certain sound, but I dont know what cam makes what sound. Any help appreciated.

Re: Cam Guide?

Comp has a few sound clips, but I don't really like them all that much.
Many factors come into play in cam selection..

It should start with what your expected outcome is. you know, the engine, transmission, rear axle ratio, desired rpm range etc...

I agree a one stop guide would be really cool but I have not found one yet. I anticipate a bunch of folks here will chime in with some great tips. I even think there was a recent post - maybe try a search or two on the forum

Cam sounds and some technical info
