Anyone got power bucket seats?
Since the seat back don't fold on the stock GM buckets, I thought it would be a good idea to mount them on power seat frames. I put a set in my Blazer, but the truck floor is a different animal all together.
I think the Gen III F body frames would probably be a good candidate for the swap. Does anyone have power bucket seats in their truck?

Re: Anyone got power bucket seats?
I had a set in my old '77. They came out of a '78 Grand Prix. It was a major PITA to make the brackets, but was nice in the end.

Re: Anyone got power bucket seats?
So is the Cheyenne getting buckets ? If so , I am interested in which seat covers you go with . I am considering it for my truck since I have the seats and console just sitting.

Re: Anyone got power bucket seats?
Frank, get them from Chris. I did, and they look identical to factory and fit like a glove. Money well spent IMO, and they were slightly cheaper than the "big guys".

Re: Anyone got power bucket seats?
I think there are two different grains and several reds to choose from . If I do end up putting them in , I want the color and grain to be as close to stock as possible . That is where I will get them if I do .

Re: Anyone got power bucket seats?
Frank I am considering that option. I got a set of low back buckets from Jeff, and I am looking for a cupholder console now. I already have the sound deadner, and I plan to buy new carpet no matter what I do.

Re: Anyone got power bucket seats?
You could always liquefy some metal and make something work.

Re: Anyone got power bucket seats?
Go to bottom of this page I believe this will work. Not sure if it is what you are looking for though.

Re: Anyone got power bucket seats?
Planning on running the factory low back buckets. I wasn't sure if those would tuck inside the base or not.

Re: Anyone got power bucket seats?
Rod Doors said they have a mount for these, but I haven't talked to them about it recently.

Re: Anyone got power bucket seats?
It has 7" of travel front to back, measures 3.75" tall when collapsed, 5.5" tall when extended, is 10.8" wide, and 17.1" long.
I would like to see the switches and where they mount. I called them and spoke to Shawn to get more pics they are on back order but they will recieve a few by next week. He's going to snap some more pics and email them to me. When I get the pics I'll post them here. They run off a 30amp circuit per unit but they wire two units on one 30amp circuit.
