fiberglass body parts

i was thinking of making my next truck a shortbed fleet, made with a fiberglass bed, doors, fenders, and hood. i know i've seen these parts over the internet but if somebody could refresh my memory where. also if anybody has used fiberglass parts tell me how they fit and worked out. i was thinking an ls9 with the tranny/rear end from a vette would distribute the weight nicely with plenty power. basically a light, powerful beast, also bagged on 22X18's in the rear (deeep dish) and 20's up front

Re: fiberglass body parts

generally fiberglass parts need extensive work to get a quality fit and finish.its not a bolt on and paint deal

Re: fiberglass body parts

The only fibreglass parts I've ever heard of are lightweight race only pieces. They probably would not hold up to use in a street ride.IIRC the manufacturer is US Body parts or something similar. You can search it and it comes up in some of them.
