i did not know that 1/2 tons came with a big block? it is a sweet truck it would for sure be the shizzle for me if it was a short bed! i wonder if it will draw the price?????

In '73, drip rails were a dealer add-on. I believe they were glued on... except for the Cheyenne Super, they had drip rails...I think... jc

I am pretty sure there were no drip rails in 73 , optional in 74 , and went into full production in 75 . I am sure that they were added at some point by owners noticing all of their friends that had them stayed dry in the rain .

The ONLY thing I don't like about that truck are the side view mirrors. I have them on my truck and when I install my new doors, those mirrors are history.
