WTB--short fleetside BED

Hey guys.
I need a bed for my short wheel base. Wouldn't even know how to go about shipping something like that, so if somebody in the Houston area has one chime in here. I would travel as far as Dallas or Austin for the right deal. I should have bought one a couple of months ago, but couldn't get my hands on a trailer. Now I have a flat bed work truck that it will easily fit on.
So, tell me what you've got, how much, and where you are located.
Thanks in advance.

How nice of a bed are you looking for ? Also are you looking for a dual tank , single tank, round holes or tank doors ? I might know of one very nice dual tank with square gas doors for sale .

Re: WTB--short fleetside BED

wild wille--I appreciate the offer. Let me wait a little while and see what is out there--see if I can find one that doesn't need a whole lot of work. But the price is right.

Frank--yeah, I guess I should have put that in there. Ideally dual square doors. What you are describing is ideal. I would like to get one in great shape that doesn't need anything, but like everyone else, I am looking for a deal. I'm not afraid to do a little body work though. So yes, I'm interested.

Re: WTB--short fleetside BED

I have a call in to the guy with the bed I am referring to . No return yet . His bed was nice if he still has it . I will let you know when he contacts me . I have one that I have had for over 15 years but it would be expensive . Texasjeff bought the tailgate off of it several years ago .

Re: WTB--short fleetside BED

I think I found one up in Enis that I can pick up this weekend. He says it's perfect and he'll let it go for $300. Plus he has the 91 GMC Burb grill and radiator support that I have been looking for, for $150. So, one stop shop I guess. If it isn't what he says, then I will be back on the board.
Thanks everyone.
