Color combination? Picture request!

I was wondering if a certain color combination was ever offered or if anyone has ever see one?

I am looking for the factory color two tone w/ the dark hunter green with a white stripe down the side, white top, and wood grain molding.

Thanks!

Re: Color combination? Picture request!

None of the Blazers/Jimmys EVER had two-tone paint from the factory. At least not until the newer 73 body style. The tops were either black or white and the body was one solid color.

Re: Color combination? Picture request!

I didn't know that. I have seen a couple of pictures of two tone blazers and I figured it was just a rare option. Are there any Photoshop masters on the board that could see what this would look like? Please!

Here is one that would be probably be the easiest to do?

Here is one that I saw that made me think it was factory. I personally love the two tone so that sucks it wasn't an option on the blazers. So that must mean that the top trim is also retrofitted for this blazer?

Thanks, the last one is the color I was looking for!

I don't know what the colors actual name is but above I posted one that I found on the internet. That one is the same color that mine was originally (now it is blue) but I am thinking about eventually going back to the green and if the two tone looks good maybe doing that?

I've seen several with this type of modification done, but it wasn't factory. I suppose that a dealership may have offered it as a dealer-installed trim package, afterall it does look nice.

I agree, they look great, not sure why GM didn't do it in the first place. The trim has been modified to fit. The fender and door are of course the same but the rear piece was probably trimmed down from a SWB truck. Here is a color chart that might help you a little as well.

Re: Color combination? Picture request!

I forget the owner of the orange/white one but it is one of my ALLTIME favorite blazers, reguardless of color or paint. Maybe the owner will chime in.

Re: Color combination? Picture request!

I've seen that one before! That is one of the best looking blazers I've seen.

I asked in my earlier post, I don't know if there are any Photoshop Gurus here but is there anyone that could Photoshop the Green/White stripe combo on that orange blazer or the green one that I posted earlier? I am really curious at how it would look. My imagination thinks it would look good but you never know until you see it! Thanks!

We used to have a photo-shop section, dunno if it's still around or not since the latest upgrades.
