Motor pics
Took these about 2 months ago. Been busy with school and work, haven't had time to develope or scan them for a while. I've got lots more done since these pics. Although it doesn't look like it, my firewall and motor are 2 different colors. Motor is chevy orange and firewall (rest of truck too one day) is guards red.

Thats a reverse flow waterpump, I got all the brackets and stuff off a 84 vette. I wanted a Serpentine system that was different than the truck one's everyone uses, but also cheaper than the ones i've seen in books. So it's all gonna be aluminum. Hopefully, one day it'll all get polished.
Thanks for the compliments

your truck is looking great! I wish I was that far along. Great color choice! Mine was that color back when we first painted it red almost 16 years ago.....I can tell you it fades to an orange color!! LOL

NIce valve covers. I just set my engine in to tease myself before I rip and tear and paint the firewall 2000 vette yellow

I painted the motor with about 8 cans of VHT Chevy orange. Keep in mind looking at a paint job is like looking at an ugly woman, the farther away you are, they better they look.
I like the valve covers, but they are not finished worth crap. The paint for the lettering is all crooked, very crooked. And the polished finish sucks on them.

that motor looks great, just wait until those valvecover gaskets start leaking. Kinda reminds me of the stage my Monte is in right now

If you use a steel impregnated rubber gasket with the heavy flange on those covers they shouldnt leak. The flange is nice and heavy mot like the tin foil cheepie valve covers you see at the parts store for 79.99
