3100 vs 3600
I am looking at a 1955 3600 short bed 2nd series. What the differences between the 3100 and 3600? I realize the 3100 is 1/2 ton and the 3600 is 3/4 ton but what different? Also do the parts interchange?

Re: 3100 vs 3600
thought the 3600 came in 8' bed only? pretty easy to put 3600 parts on a 3100 frame.

Re: 3100 vs 3600
I'm pretty sure these guys are correct. My '54 3600 had an 8ft. bed with 8 lugs and overload springs front/rear. You might have a 3600 cab on a 3100 chassis. The body's were all the same except for the beds, AFAIK.
