New from Houston,Tx
Hello all. I think i have find a new home. I am very excited to have found a site as informational as this one is and from what i can see every one is so helpful. For starters i have two 69 pickups one lwb and another swb. Just droped a 350/th400 in the lwb and had a custom drive shaft made for the air suspension i plan on putting on. just needs a few more odds and ends and it is road ready. I will take some pics and get them posted this weekend. I am hoping to learn alot from every one here.

sorry was a few days before i could get some pics but here is my 69 lwb just droped in a 350 with a th400 i have a air bag kit for the rear just missing a few things and they will be tossed in hopefull with in this month

Thanx i wish i had the camera when i first got the truck i already have done so much the engine is in just need some headers and im done i had a drive shaft made so i wouldnt have to use the 2 piece and i plan on taking the bed off next weeken to start putting the bags in. cameo what you workin on?

o and here is my 74 ford i kno it aint a chevy but it got cause my grandfather had one when i was a little kid and when i saw it i couldnt pass it up now its my daily and thats my wife sitting on the hood she is made at me casue im here more then i spend time with her

Hey 69rob, Right now I am working on a little bit of everything. As my name suggests I have a 1956 chevy cameo truck. Somehow over the years it ended up getting a 429 caddillac engine. So I am working on it, got it running and moving, but still needs tons of work before I can cruise in it.
I am also completely re doing a 1970 short- fleet truck. It has a 396 and turbo 400 trans with a posi rear. Trying to decide what color to go with. I am also tinkering with my 1972 blazer. I have gotten it running and driving (around the yard). Thinking of starting the metal work on it when the 70 truck is done. And finally I just purchased a 72 suburban that I am tinkering with so I can turn it into my swap meet hauler. When I get done with all of those I have a 55 bel air 2 door hardtop, and a 1954 suburban that are both waiting on a complete resto. As much as I hate to say it I am really digging that ford truck. I am not a big fan of blue oval trucks but I have always admired their 70s model trucks. If I ever do get a ford truck that will be the style I will get. |
