My 71 Burb has a charcoal canister that appears to be an oem installation. Is this a common item? I'd like to get rid of it and the associated vacume hoses, which are shot, but would doing so reduce the value of the rig?
Thanks, Steve

Yes, all 1/2 ton and I think 3/4 tons had it.
I highly doubt ripping it out would devalue it...onless it is supposed to be a real restoration. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350.
