Another new guy from Texas

Hey everyone, This is Tim from Splendora, Texas been looking at this site for a while and must say, I like it.
I have been trying to post for 2 months now and have had no luck, my computer skills are lacking. All the post that I have done are somewhere on this board. I just hope this post actually shows up.

Now for a little about my truck and my shop.
I have a 68 short bed Chevy that needs a lot of work. My plans are to build a Pro Street big block weekend driver.
I want to do a back half and run 33X21.50X20 tires.
Plan on buying a Chris Alstom rear clip, anyone have any thoughts on the direction that I plan on taking???? Sure could use yalls help.
I dont think it would be that hard to do this frame work???
Im not trying to do one of the VERY NICE custom frames that I have seen on this site, I just want to do a basic rear clip.
I just completed building my shop, I had a 42X40 metal building put up in my back yard. I have a Millermatic 210 welding machine to take care of all the welding that will be required.

Well, before I waste a bunch of time typing a long yada yada about my dream
Im gonna make sure this even gets to where it can be read.

Oh, I know pictures are proof, and as soon as I learn how to post the pictures I will for sure do so.
Thanks ahead of time for your thoughts.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
