Motor mount ?

Is this the right amount of gap below exhaust manifold or do I have a bad motor mount?

Re: Motor mount ?

Two things. One is you need to look at the mount, and see if the metal piece that is bolted to the engine is touching the metal piece that is bolted to the frame. if so then you got a bad mount. I do not know what year your truck is, but are the exhaust manifolds correct for you truck. Both of mine have rams horn type manifolds.

Re: Motor mount ?

That's not the right manifold so your mounts might not be bad.

Re: Motor mount ?

He's right, that manifold is from a newer model.

Re: Motor mount ?

Looks like a little research is in store. I have saw in previous post the ram horn type manifolds but thought that there may have been something else offered. Thanks for the input. Also it's a 71 Blazer
