Some parts on that truck are just excellent and others are quite ridiculous. What's up with the little clock in the middle of the dash? 80 gallon tank? I think the interior needs some help not finished as nice as the rest of the exterior. I prefer the original grille too. Nice suspension but wonder about the trailing arms with lightening holes. I would still like it but would rework a few things...personal taste!

I think that thruck is very nice but I have to question the fuel tank. That truck probably see about 10 miles a year, car show miles. Also i would have thought the truck would have had some kind of high dollar fuel injection system instead of a carb. Must have spent all of the money on that fuel tank.

Wow, what a nice truck. I thought the person didn't know what they were talking about when the 80 gallon tank was mentioned but there it was. Don't care for the dash at all especially the glove box door.

Everyone has their own taste... I just thought I'd spout out some of mine--
  • Centerline Drag Stars are a little too '80's for me
  • Wheel needs to be +1 or +2 from what it is
  • Missing drip rails... ahhh, we've already had that discussion
  • I wonder if that thing shimmies like a go-go dancer when you stomp the gas... look at all those holes in the swingarms
  • Rack and pinion. Why? To lower the truck? There are easier (and better, IMHO) ways
  • Lots of work to cut down that glove box door, and for what? To stick a plastic vent in?
  • Center of the dash is so busy with "stuff" I get tired just looking at it
  • Micro-clock in the center of the dash bezel is odd
  • Door panels are well done but busy
  • Front roll pan, nah
  • Phantom grille stuff, nah

Having said all that... I do like the attention to detail. Somebody spent a LOT of time getting this truck how they wanted it. I can't see the Buy It Now price though... not based on what was invested but simply based on what these "classics" go for.

Anyway, it'd be a great truck to see at a show so I could appreciate that detail a little more.

Kenneth

Says 70,000 invested. For that much money you would at the very least have a fuel injected 502. I got to agree about the converter cover. Looks unfinished. That center dash doesnt look that much better than my 2500.00 project. I would have expected more for that much money. Oh well to each his own.

Whats with the radio? $70,000 and a $150 Radio with a tape deck WTF? I like the truck the interior needs attention! The one I always think of is that its not a truck any more!

yeah, the vents look horrible. the TC cover isn't there and the front coil over looks like it would slide around on the lower a-arm. Other than that nice truck. I guess anyone could pick apart anyones truck.

Very nice truck!! Sure there are things that wouldn't suit everyone's taste but you gotta give it up for this one. Dash and wheels are about the only downers for me at first glance...

I thought I was the only one that noticed. All that money, and he used a carbureted small block.
