Edit - I forgot more details, I'm not running any inner front fenders or rear tubs.

Re: I need tires

I don't know about the biggest, but 275/60 looks perfect on 15x8's!

Re: I need tires

I have 275/60 on 15X8 rallys, and I wouldn't go any bigger. They are already 'balloning out' a bit too much for my taste.

It looks like I can get away with those and still use the port-o-walls. The info is HERE for the guidelines...... or do yu guys think I should just pony up the extra dough and get real white walls.

I just liked these because there different and era specific for my truck.

I agree man....... I just priced some and they are $229 a piece! This is a tough one, I can do my exhaust and black walls for the price of these.

Damn, I'm gettin' cheap in my old age....

Re: I need tires

I'm just gonna be low budget for now and run some tires with a 1" white wall - gonna run 217/70r15 on 15x7 - found some online for $57 each

the WWs I found in that size (with 2.5"WW) were $184 each- I don't mind having a skinnier WW if I can get them so much cheaper...wish I could afford the Wides though...

so you MIGHT think about that route as well...

Re: I need tires

not to be hijacking your thread Houp, but I did the above ^^^ today on a tire at work just to see if it worked, and it did... pretty cool actually... a Firestone tire with a 1" WW ended up having a 2" WW after I sanded it down...
