Post 2wd ram horns again........

ok this is getting messed, i been trying for months to figure out what ram horn is supposed ot be on the pass side of a factory 307/350 2 wheel drive pickup, i swear that the 68 3-7 truck i had was driver angled and pass striaght, but i keep hearing it both ways...
engine is wayyyy up forward in the forward frame mount holes... and i mean wayyyyyyyy up forward, like i could almost sit in between firewall and the dizzy,(ok im almost exaggerating, but you get the idea)
But i need ot know for sure some how and asap, i wanna get this thing fired up, i dont have any pass side or straigh center manifolds to try on it yet cuz i dont know what to get yet...

Im pretty sure,almost positive that when i took my ram horns off my 2wd 350,they both angled back,i could be wrong,im 98% sure

The manifolds that i have had on the 2wd trucks have been angled on both sides on the 67-72. I havent had a 67 with a V8,so cant say if they were different in the beginning? As far as bolting the ex pipes up......trust me,you will be much happier if you do not use the straight dump manifolds......69 longhorn.

The manifolds on my '72 2wd/350 are both angled. as far as i can tell, nothing has been changed on mine.

Just took them off my original 307 engine.
My truck is a '71 and both angled back...
I just finished beadblasting them and painted
them. If it would help, I can post the
casting numbers? Let me know. Mine do NOT
have the air tube ports drilled.

ok cool, i also called GM dealer and htey told me for 68 2wd 307 the manifolds are:

1964 68 3855163 RH 283,327 B C K
B is full size car, C is 2wd truck and K is 4x4 truck


1967 68 3905364 307,350,400 C K

now according to this that means 2wd and 4x4 use same... how can this be ? i always thought 4x4 used straight center dump ?!

im actuall ymore worried about pass RH side becuse i still have the original 68 2wd ram horn off my 68 and its angled, just been long time since i got rid of the pass side one..

Ditto that, Fast. I've owned three 1968 2WD trucks. Two were stock 307/350, the other was (I think) 327/400. All had angle dump on both sides, with the passenger side ready to fall apart. I may have a set if you're interested. I had a hard time finding them two years ago.

Mine are both angled back, with the driverside being a bit longer drop.

again....all the 4X4s i've ever seen had straight dumps, except for mine when i got it, it had the angle dumps, now it's got one of each, but soon to be both straights because the angle i have on the rh side is cracked.

hmmm..... want to fire engine up this year...

I checked it out again this a.m.. Yep, it's still broken. (humor)
But seriously, the numbers.
On the rearward half is where most of the numbers are ...

3S969S6

Then on the forward half ...

956

Like I said in my post, it dumps at the center comes down a short ways (2 1/2") and then turns rearward (+/- 30%).

Ps. That's on a relatively unmolested (stock) 68, c20, 327/th400. I don't want to steal Fast's manifold but I need one too.

Pps, note, my numbers don't match Fast's, maybe that's a problem, maybe not.

I don't know if this helps any. In 65 and 66 the manifolds on my Impala were straight dump on the left(drivers) and angled on the right side. I just cut off the alternator mount last year and used the left manifold as the right side manifold on Andy's 4x4 suburban.
