Frame mods for wide Mickeys?
I am getting ready to buy my tires and wheels for my pro street project on my 1950 Chevy truck. What is the widest Mickey that will fit under the rear of the truck with out narrowing the frame? I would like to run 29 x 18.5 tires on Weld wheels. I will be installing a narrowed nine inch rear end and will be using 3" wider rear fenders. Does any one have any pics of their setup and advise?
Thanks, Renegade |

Re: Frame mods for wide Mickeys?
pull a rear wheel and measure the distance from the frame to the current fenders and add 3".
