Shaved firewall while retaining heater

Okay guys i KNOW I have seen this on here before but I can't find it. Maybe just tired today.

I need info on the setup so that you can shave the firewall and retain heater functions. I believe they were under dash units that moved the heater core and blower motor inside where the glovebox would be and then the heater hoses were the only thing on the firewall there.

Help me out guys,
Thanks,

Newton

vintage air has great products//check out an issue of streetrodder or rod and custom theres lots of other companies offering setups or you can go to a junkyard get a heater core and a blower motor and fabricate your own

I have the Flex-a-lite Mojave Heater Assembly, but have yet to install it.
I haven't a clue how I'm going to do that

Re: Shaved firewall while retaining heater

I think that Old Air or Classic Air has a setup for our trucks.

I'm planning on picking up a Vintage Air setup for my build.

Re: Shaved firewall while retaining heater

i like the classic air cause you can keep your original controls and its much cleaner coming out of the firewall

Re: Shaved firewall while retaining heater

All of those kits appear to be for A/C setups??? All I have is heater only. No A/C. I don't really like the idea of the Mojave setup I dont like the way it would show under the dash. Is there not a kit that just moves the heater core and blower in under the dash and keeps the factory controls and ducts??
