Who is running stainless transmission cooler lines?

I ready to order new lines and not sure if stainless steel is the way to go.
Anyone using stainless with good results? Should I just save my $ and get mild steel?
I’m getting them from LMC if that matters.

Re: Who is running stainless transmission cooler lines?

I used SS trans cooler lines. They fit well. I think I bought them from Inline Tube. They really look good.I think they are worth the extra money. I also used SS brake, fuel, and vent lines, and SS E-brake cables.
If you up my posts you can see pics of the frame. Look for a post named camo truck progress.

Re: Who is running stainless transmission cooler lines?

I got a set for my truck and one for my son's. Mine seem to be doing real well (hanging up in the shop). My son can't seem to stay off dirt/gravel at 2" ride height. They are holding up pretty good and the best thing is they won't rust. You shouldn't have any problem with that.

I have an Astro van originally from the Baltimore area and the fuel lines on that are just about gone. The question is, how many times do you want to replace them?

Re: Who is running stainless transmission cooler lines?

i put on AN flex lines ( Jegs Pro Flo 350) and have no desire to go back to hard lines.
You can run these tucked in the frame rail all the way to the front, easy, light weight and not bad price wise

That's what I want to do on mine. It will look nice but mainly because they won't rust.
