EXACTLY!! I've been wondering this exact thing for the past week or so now.. used to be 186.95 for both the 1" or 1.25" rotor ones, now they're 299.95!!!!!! almost double?!?! what's goin on here!?!?!? all the other prices stayed the same.. hmmmmmmmmm

I don't know how much the western chassis spindles are worth, here's what I ended up with for my 86. They are only 2" spindles though...

Good thing I ordered my drop stuff when I did. I got Stylin'Concepts' Quick Drop Kit, which is a DJM 3" drop spindle kit for 1.250" rotors and the DJM 5" flip kit all for $279.90 shipped to me. I couldn't pass up the free shipping. Summit still listing the DJM 3" rotor for $225.95. Looks like Stylin Concepts is selling them now at DJM's suggested retail price.

maybe it's the whole christmas season...you know, jack up the prices 90% and then offer great sales of 20% off!!
