need hood latch pics
can somebody post pics of the hood latches from diffrent years..
i bought a latch from a 68 from board member and it doesnt fit.. Now i have three latches here none of which will fit on my 68, there not even close. so can somebody show me a pics of the difference in teh latches please

Trust me, they are not the same. I had the wrong one installed from a 71 and it did not work. This is the correct one for a 68. I will try and get you a picture tomorrow of the other one next to this one and let you know what the difference is.

there are 5 different hood latches, (1) 1967-68 chev, (2) 69-70 chev, (3) 71-72 Chev, (4) 67-68 GMC, (5) 69-72 GMC

And I`ll add...
All 67/68s slant back real low just like the hoods.The 69/72s all step up first then slant back steeper,just like the hoods.The handles on GMCs are offset to the driver side.
