are blazer and truck tailgates the same?
I'm thinking there the same but wanted to make sure before I ride an hour to look at one. I found a nice looking blazer gate for $200. Is this a good price ?

Re: are blazer and truck tailgates the same?
Outside of the metal seal strip on the Blazer tailgate, the tailgates are the same. If you are using a Blazer
tailgate on a truck you will have some holes on top to deal with. Depending on the condition, it is possible for a tailgate to sell for that much. Jim

Re: are blazer and truck tailgates the same?
I was given a 72 blazer last year that I gave to my brother after I exchanged the tailgate off my 72 3/4 ton. fit perfect just a few holes that were on the gate strip when it was on the blazer. if its straight its worth the drive for 200

If you get the tailgate, don't toss the top seal strip. Some one here can use it.
