Well guys I'm stuck on what style hood to get.
What do you guys think?
I am favoring #1.

imo, pic 2 looks the best. not to off the wall, but far from stock

Whaaat, no selection for a stock hood? That would get my vote.

IMO, cowl hoods are outdated...but that is just my opinion.

IM WITH #1. ITS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS. NOT A WHOLE LOT OF PEEPS HAVE ONE. DIFFERENT IS GOOD.

i agree with # 2 check out advantagefiberglass.net. thats where i got my hood. a little different than all the others

I agree with bigblock. IMO the stock hoods look the best. The only time I like cowl hoods is when you actually need the hood clearance for the monster underneath.

I agree. But if you must do it, definitly NOT # 1.

Guess I'm showing my "old school" tendencies again but I am not much into cowl hoods on trucks. I like a nice, clean factory body and paint. Cowl hoods do look good on A body Chevelles, (guess since I have a '71 SS) and
the 1st Gen. Camaros but other than that unless it is stock I think for the most part they detract from the look of a clean truck. Not my truck just my
.02 worth. Again, as in most cases, your truck, your decision, build it as YOU like it.

Theres a 73-87 stepper that runs around here with a #1 hood on it and im gonna tell ya you had better really really like it cuz when it's on the truck it is a hugh eye sore JMO!

I'm gonna go with #2 cuz i have one like that.

As for a stock hood! If the truck isnt stock as a rock then the hood shouldn't be either! again JMO.

But what ever you get, get it in steel mine is glass and i hate it!!!!!!

There might be a reason not many people have that hood.

On another note, my buddy had a fiberglass hood, it was real wavy. Steel may be better.

Well guys the poll has won me over
I will be getting the #2 style hood.
I am surprized me and Rollinsqrbdy were the only two that liked 1,but i have never seen one on a truck so I will stay with the majority.
