Just bought a 69 c10 longhorn with drums all around....What would be the best route to take if I wanted to put discs on the front?

Your longhorn will be a 20 or 30 series, unless somebody modified it .

You can get a spindle/brake conversion kit & retain the 6 lug pattern if you like.......probably the easiest way to go,but a little more cash outlay. or you can swap the later pcs in, some guys are opting to swap the complete crossmember, with all the steering linkage in place. My swap on my 69 was lower a arms, balljoint assys, tierods assys & centerlink. i used 75 spindles & corresponding parts, including the prop valve , lines, hoses & master, & also a 75 12 bolt......truely a "c10 longhorn", with 5 lug pcs..... http://community.webshots.com/user/hotrodhorn

brake swap

i got a full front disk set up on my 79, if you are interested. believe you would have to swap out the spindle/rotor, add the caliper, swap out outer tie rods, add proportioning valve, etc.
i got the whole thing still on the pickup ready to go. the tie rods and other steering components are near new condition too.

let me know, thanks.

If you're happy with your rear and want to save some money on wheels, get a 6 lug kit. I'd get one from GMCPaul. I've got his stuff on my truck and I LOVE IT! Top notch stuff and Paul really stands behind his stuff. He's also several bills cheaper on the whole kit. Just get that kit, the prop valve, parts store MC and booster and make your lines from scratch. You will love the difference.
