Re: Price for rocker panel work?????

Sorry to hear about your injury.

With body shop rates ranging from $60-$100 per hour or about 4.5 to 8 man hours to replace both rockers and one floor pan...I would say you are getting treated pretty fairly. I am speaking from my personal experience of replacing these parts myself. I spent approximately 10 hours removing old metal and replacing with patch panels, which leave a bit to be desired, as far as quality, fit and finish.

In any case, good luck and let us know how things work out for you.

It appeared you needed the shop to do your rocker panels and floor pan on driver side, per your post. Even so, I still think it is not unreasonable to do one rocker and one floor pan for $450.00. Perhaps a fellow 4-5-6 Chevy truck enthusiast in your area can work with you for a better price.

Re: Price for rocker panel work?????

I have done this work on a number of my trucks and if you were closer, I would lend you a hand. TX would be a long commute to Kansas City.

I hope someone on the site is able to lend you some guidance.
