Re: eBay find - Wiring Diagrams

Yeah, my boss ordered one of those laminated diagrams for his 68 1 ton. It took them two weeks to get it to him. We used my factory assembly manual, and my 71 diagram that I'd bought a few years back, and got everything figured out before his ever arrived.

And downloading them for free here is definitely better.

Re: eBay find - Wiring Diagrams

About the only thing I can think of to make the free ones I posted better would be to have a small inset showing wiring for an HEI.

Re: eBay find - Wiring Diagrams

Hey Bob. I hate to kinda change the subject but I am trying to change over to rear disc on my 71 and I was wondering if you still sell the rear brackets for no e-brake calipers? Or if you dont mess with them anymore if you might have a print of them that i could make my own. I work in a machine shop and would love to have a set. Thanks! Greg

Re: eBay find - Wiring Diagrams

When they open up in Adobe reader (they are all .PDF's), you can save them to your computer, then you can open them or even print them at any time.

Re: eBay find - Wiring Diagrams

Cool, I was going to do that...I just wanted to keep the link somehow so I can go back to it as needed. There is a LOT of info there. How do I add a thread to my profile? I guess what I mean is how do I save it so I can find it later? I see everyone has these links and stuff to click on whenever they post a response in a thread. How do I do that?

Re: eBay find - Wiring Diagrams

Oh, I see. In that case, just save them as a "bookmark" or a "favorite" in your web browser, depending on which browser you have.

Re: eBay find - Wiring Diagrams

Since I am new here, a lot of my time is spent searching threads for information I want or need. What I have been doing is going to the upper left of my page and click on 'File'. From there I send a link of the page to me as an e-mail. In my e-mails on my computer, I have created a new folder in my messages on my computer. Name it what you want. Anyway, I drop all e-mail links I sent to myself into that folder. Sure makes it easy. Problem with bookmarks is that I sometimes manage to delete them. Now to make sure those are backed up on disk. It sucks loosing all your bookmarks or having a computer crash.
