Question Questions about bagging a 1-ton

I'm not sure about the suspension differences between a C10 and a C30 so I was hoping you guys could help me.

I was wondering if I can use or adapt C10 front suspension components to work with a C30 frame. I also need to know if I need to use larger bags due to a heavier chassis.

I was thinking of running a Porterbuilt Dropmember up front and a custom AOL system out back. After the transformation I doubt that the truck would ever haul anything ever again, I just want to check into everything before I commit to a way of doing things.

Its an 8-lug, 2wd dually with a hydro dump bed, if that helps. Also looking at a BBC up front.

Thanks guys,

Matt

The front brackets would go in place, I would use a 8" bag like the Dominator. In back if you did an axle flip and deleaf you could bag it and still haul. Did a F$@# dually years ago full 4 link etc he hauls a 2 car trailer.

Ok. An 8" bag sounds like the ticket the more I read.

I'm not looking to lay the frame or anything like that. I'm looking at the idea of going really low with the truck and think it might be time to step up my game and start thinking about 'baggin a truck.

Yeah definetly!!! There is room for it up front, I believe the factory bumpstop is a hinderence so it may have to leave.

Re: Questions about bagging a 1-ton

im running a 7 inch bag in the front of my dually with a 454 and it lifts and rides great. and theres really no need for c10 suspension. also you might not need a drop member on most duallys the frame hangs lower than the crossmember
