It is a little hard to see, but it looks like a TH 400.

I feel like an idiot. I used to know all my trannys. I can't see how I thought it was a th350.
So now. What are the pros and cons of the 400? |

Pros & cons? only 1 downside that i see, they take a little morepower to run than a 350t. To the good side, they will handle a healthy BB, or a "hot" sb, in pretty much stock form! I have a 400-2 transgo shift kit, & a TCI converter in an otherwise stock overhual. The 400 turbo has had a pretty warm 455 OLds , & a 425 cad in front of it, then gutted & put in a Chev case with nothing but seals & gaskets, & now being torchered by a 383 chev........just like an old timex
