Post 69 Chevy CST?

I have a 69 Chevy CST but doesn't have ac or power brakes but has all the trim.(cst?) Has a 396,th400 tran, Dana 60 posi 4.56 rearend, leafspings, one piece drive shaft. The real kicker is that the block is 4 bolt main with 375hp closed chamber heads. all this is factory. Have build sheet. everyone that as seen it says no way. whats the deal?

It sounds like a real decent truck for sure. The four bolt main... seems odd too. You have the suffix code numbers on the block? One piece drive shaft too seems odd should be a two piece. If you have a build sheet for the truck built that way it's a great find and a source of proof to the doubters on original equipment. Could you scan the build sheet and send it to me... would like to see it. Not doubting you... just would like to see it. Rod

CST Z84 option has nothing at all to do with other optins such as J70 and N40 and so forth that you mentin that it does not have, all Z84 is is a comfort and appearance option, it means chrome trim and carpet and little things like that, like silverado and Custom Deluxe does

And G80 could be had with 396(L47) without the 4 speed tranny,
Maximum Traction(G87) was with 396 with the 4 speed only
