short frame rollin on 5 holes

I got my frame rolling today with the 5 hole suspension.I have most of the uneeded holes welded up might try to finish that tomorrow, my helmet is solar and it is really cloudy. I may have to move on to something else till the sun comes back. I now have ALMOST completed the frame and short wide bed and still haven't started to tear down the lwb. If this rambing does'nt make sense I'll refresh you. I introduced myself just a couple a weeks ago. I have a 70 long bed truck I am making a short out of. I used a 68 frame and bed and a 71 for the 5 hole stuff. I have been collecting parts for a couple of months now and the last part to come in is a tac vac dash. Still haven't decided on the motor but the trans will be a 700R4 or a 4L60E, cause I found 3.73 gears when I took off the rear cover. Jim

Re: short frame rollin on 5 holes

he means 5 lug rims... 71/72 disk brake 1/2 ton instead of 67 - 70 6 lug 1/2 ton drum brake stuff.
