68 gmc
Got a rust free drivers side door to replace old one, Anybody got pics of the process. Looks awfully tight in there.

Changing the door is worth the effort. Even at my big size I underestimated needing a second helping hand to change the door out. I just recommend you get a helping hand so you don't get frustrated like I did. It is an easy process. At the most you may have to play with the door alignment some to get it right. Sorry I don't have any pictures for you. Once you start to mess with the hinges loosening them or changing them out, it can get more complicated a little. My new door was getting caught on the front fender while opening and closing. I had to do a lot of loosening of cowl, fender and other associated bolts to get it right, good luck and just have fun with it.

I just set the door on my floor jack and balanced it with one hand and installed the bolts with the other.

 It real easy that way. I either use a floor jack with a rag on it to keep from scratching the door, or my adjustable seat creeper chair. I pulled the door off of my 70 last weekend to replace a bad regulator, very easy to do.Speaking of the regulator, if you are swapping out the guts too, here is a good thread to read: http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=157539
