How to install fuel sender and plug extra lines

I bought this Blazer Poly tank and sender just the way you see it in these pictures and was wondering what you all do to cap off the extra lines on the tank. I would rather not have these brass hose adaptors and would like a poly cap of some sort and glue it on.
Also pertaining to the rubber O ring for the sending unit. Is there anything to putting it on that I should know beings I have no directions . papa
