TURN SIGNALS after steering wheel change????
My turn signals will not self-cancel when turned either way. There is nothing broken on the signal cam/assembly. There is a mid-70s camaro steering wheel on it that I was trying to move closer to the column housing, when I noticed that the self-cancel function wasnt working.
What parts am I missing / How do I fix this? Thanks a bunch! (PS this is a tilt column. thanks!) |

Re: TURN SIGNALS after steering wheel change????
There's two little springs on the plastic cam, if they're missing your turn signals won't cancel. I think you can get new ones in the Help aisle at the auto parts store. Edit: I see you have a tilt column, I think it should still be the same deal though.

Re: TURN SIGNALS after steering wheel change????
i say its pretty obvious that when you changed the wheel you messed up the signal return look in lmc truck cataloge for a picture then take the wheel off and make it like the picture
