Pinks all out was here
Pinks All Out was in Montgomery this weekend and it was pretty cool. We had a ton of fast cars and trucks. In the final 32 we had a neat mix including a Luv truck with a BDS blower on a V6. We had one of the fastest fields ever 9.5 to 9.7's

Re: Pinks all out was here
Wow, this is only the second 9 second class. The one my Nova made the final 16 here in Phx was a 9.10 to 9.20 bracket. The call went out for 9second cars only when they advertised it last year and it was a FULL lot when the cut registration off at 400 cars. It was pretty cool having 400 cars, all running 9.0 to 9.99,,,, all bidding for 16 slots.. I sure wish the BTE POS glide had lasted more than 10 laps or I might have made it out of 1st round.
And now the little dig (I can't resist) You know Kevin,,, if you were running a small block,, you'd have that thing all back together and probably would have been a part of that field

Re: Pinks all out was here
They will have to have an 8 second field for me to be in it! I'm not slowing my pig down unless I run it without the bottle! I'll have it back together by spring. My money's funny so we are only going to build a 548 this time with a single kit.

Re: Pinks all out was here
bummer... I wish I had attended the Pinks event when it was at StL, but decided to pass it up and have regretted it ever since. Glad to hear that you had a great time.

Re: Pinks all out was here
I have never seen so many different kinds of cars and trucks at the track at one time. We also had door cars only and that's always a plus in my book!

Re: Pinks all out was here
I think a nitrous car/truck is at a disadvantage in the final . All motor would be the way to win .

Re: Pinks all out was here
Most cars are at a disadvange with that hot lap crap! The car that won here is a nitrous car but he ran it on the motor.
