Rear End ID?
THC W126 2......has Dana type cover gasket.....think it is 3.73 but don't have the book to decode....axle capacity in #s?...out of 71 Burb.....any info appreciated!! THANKS

I believe THC means 3.73 ratio;
W indicates Warren assembly plant; 126 indicates the 126th day of the year; 2 indicates the 2nd shift;there should have been a + 0r - sign in between the 126 and the 2 for indicating posi or non-posi; info per Cars & Parts Chevy ID Numbers Book Hope this helps Tim
