And the hood on my 72 is CHERRY no dings dents or scratches in factory (repainted) blue.......Is this something I could recop some $ buy selling say on Ebay and what would a decent price be to let it go for?
Thanks 72Pete |

Hoods are usually hard to sell items because they are expencive to be shipped. I always figured I was lucky to get $100.00 for a pristeen hood and lucky to get $50.00 for the others that are good and only need minor repairs. But you should be able to recoup some of the cost of the new hood. Like Mudder67 says, It is always a good idea to fit the new hood, because like any other product bad ones do make it to the customer and most companies will not take back a part that has been altered. (in this case painted) Plus you would hate to put in all the work to paint the hood to find out that the fit isn't as good as you would like it to be. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
