1967 k20 rear leafs
i was hopping back and forth across my truck installing my under-box gas tank when i heard a "pop" - i knew what it was when i heard it - got to looking and both primary leaf springs are snapped in front of the axle.
the only thing connecting the springs to the axle is the clip that holds the 2 springs together - scary - I can't for the life of me find direct replacements - every company starts on 69' and up- i need to know what leaf springs can directly bolt in place of the factory ones i suppose i could get the mounts and springs from another truck but i was hoping to do it cheap and easy. any suggestion will be greatly appreciated |

Moved to the 4x4 area. Try to find a spring pack the same length and width. Just replace the broken springs. It's not too hard to take the spring packs apart. Or just replace the whole thing. I believe there were only a couple of different sizes used.

I know that if they measure the same they will fit i was hoping to avoid the measuing process since most of the junk yards around here will not let you in their yards.
