I like it. Just need to finish them the rest of the way up the side of the bed. Maybe paint the grill white.

Re: Check It Out
It's not to bad even though I am not crazy about it at least it wont ruin the truck and you can always change it or just take it off ,, but many will like it so thanks for the look ...

Re: Check It Out
No exact reason, I just thought it looked good. If I had raised the stripe any more it was hitting the door handle and didn't fit as well. I have these two triangle shapes that are supposed to go on the spoiler on a Camaro, I might put those on and see what it looks like

Thanks for the compliments, I know not everyone will like it but it is removeable (with some effort) |

Re: Check It Out
I bet if you trimmed the back with the bodyline it might look more like it was designed for your truck.
Just a thought. D

Re: Check It Out
While I'd never do it, I don't think it looks terrible.
Here's what I don't like about it however- the top rear slant part is clearly made for the slope of the Camaro/Nova and doesn't match up to the truck at all. I'd cut that level with the top of the bedside to make it appear more 'stock' looking, but if you could extend it all the way up then it would look much better; also, the keyhole isn't centered and it sticks out to me. However I suspect you did try to place it right with the curves that the truck has, ie. the fender curve and stuff... I think the Hurst emblem on the tailgate combined with the Yenko decal reminds me of what ricer cars do with their stickers. Not my thing, but it scores points for creativity.

Re: Check It Out
Looks cool!
This is the only thing I would do different (if extending it up doesn't work out.)

Re: Check It Out
I like it.. Looks cool!! If it were mine I think I would go to the local graphics shop and have him make new front stripes that are longer and go to the front of the fenders... I also like 67rednecks Idea..

Or, if it was cheap enough, you could order another kit Thanks! I like it too! How cool would this look on a hugger orange 67 shortbed, slammed, with a cowl hood and motor to back up the graphics?

Re: Check It Out
Ya thats what I feel bad about.... no ZL1 for me =(
You guys all have great ideas, and I agree that it would look good extended up to the top. It was really tough to get them to follow the body lines and still stay level. I tried to go off the curved fender edges, which worked ok. Thanks for the compliments, and Im glad that I haven't gotten any really negative responses! I will update if I work on them some more |

Re: Check It Out
I htink I should have paid a little more attention to where the real Yenko's had their stripes. I should have run it below the lock cylinder. I'll get some better pics of the truck soon.

Re: Check It Out
You would have had issues with the wheel openings then... I like where you put it...

Re: Check It Out
thanks man. I was looking at it closer and your right, the wheel openings and body line wouldn't really allow for it

Re: Check It Out
The stripes on the sides look really good. I think the only thing I'd change are the stripes on the hood. Since Camaros and Chevelles use a cowl hood, the smaller strips look good on them. On our trucks havea hood that is so "big", it might need a set of strips like a '70 SS Chevelle? Maybe wider and longer???
