Lowered 1972 Suburban For Sale $2000 (Not Mine)

This looks like a pretty good deal for someone. Osoyoos is literally 3 miles from the Washington border on Highway 97. I would buy it but I have 3 too many already and my wife would leave me.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place... Move it if necessary.

someone in the Washington crew should jump over the border for that one!

Better yet i should go scoop it up and keep it in Canada, too bad its so far away and not cheap to drive/transport.

266 miles straight up the road from my house. What you see when you don't have much extra spending money and what you have is earmarked.

Being way out in the big middle of way to heck an gone from anywhere has probably kept that truck from selling.

Re: Lowered 1972 Suburban For Sale $2000 (Not Mine)

just to let you fella's know the low rider stayed in Canada. the burbanator now resides in Port Coquitlam as we picked up that suburban from Osoyoos over the past weekend. we trailered it home with our one ton dually low rider.
final price was $1850.00. it has a tired old 307 in it but was originally a 350 and will be again as we have a 1980 suburban parts vehicle with turbo 400.
we have some bodywork and paint to do but it'll make a sweet daily ride for us.

cheers,

mike

Its great to hear it got into good hands. Start a thread on her in the 67-72 suburban section; we would all love to hear more about her, see more pics, and see any work you do to her. Good luck and welcome to the board!

Re: Lowered 1972 Suburban For Sale $2000 (Not Mine)

thanks for the welcome and congrats guys. i've been with stovebolt.com for a while as part of their "welcome panel wagon" as i called it.
i'll post some pics of the trip back from osoyoos which is in B.C.'s interior or about 4.5 to 5 hour drive north east from us in a dry desert region of our province. the old 307 is lacking power and goes no where fast, but that'll change as i'll build up a 350 sml block along with a turbo 400 from our 1980 suburban parts vehicle. we should be able to lay down some bacon strips then as i like to fry the tires once in awhile. i should start a fresh thread in the forum column for the burban.
i've enclosed a pic of our tow vehicle and the new sled. forgive me as our dually which was washed prior to our trip had to endure sanded hwys going through the rocky mountains to get to where our prize was waiting. more pics to show you the winter wonderland and flash white outs we encountered on our return voyage through the mountain pass.

cheers.

mike
