starting my build thread (2 years into it)
Sorry for the blurry pics!
started with a "used" but straight 71 long bed drove it for a few months, lowered it and put some 16" centerlines on it. started some body work... Last edited by long71; 11-25-2008 at 08:20 PM. |

thanks, its been a while since i looked at all the pics. its weird for me to see what has been done. as time goes by you forget about all the work that has been put in already... also reminds me of the work to come!

I don't think you're supposed to stick your sport bike into the dryer, it appears to have shrunk a lot?

the color is leaning towards a two tone silver and charcoal. or silver and "champagne" or tan.... very unsure but almost certain on a two tone with silver

wow. amazing work. getting prepared to do the same to mine real soon. quick questions. how tall did it end up(if the frame under the cab is on the ground, how far up is the bottom of the frame above the axle from the ground)? and how did you mount the bed in the back (near the tailgate)?
