Glovebox Help
Does anybody know if an aftermarket glove box insert is made for a 71 C20? I had the factory cardboard one (and tore it) but it's not very dependable or I'm too rough. Is there one made out of plastic or some other durable material? Thanks in advance!
Also PS finally got the radiator straightened out. Ordered some new retainers and kept the 4 core!

Re: Glovebox Help
If you get a new cardboard liner... you'll be amazed at how strong it is.
There was talk of a plastic one... but I think it got canned. I took my cardboard one out, traced it on some thin sheet metal and cut it out, then bent it up and mounted it. Been holding up great since 02 or so. If you do this, you'll wanna put some rubber or carpet in there to keep your junk from ratteling and making you go CRAZY. |

And a new cardboard liner will probably last another 37 years unless you have a leak and it gets wet often. Jeff

Re: Glovebox Help
You could always put a couple of coats of fibreglass resin on a new cardboard one.
