full power door wiring

So i have a 74 Blazer from Cali, no rust right? wrong the dumbass PO thought it would be fun to drive in salt water, well ive got it, i fixed the rocker but my doors were gone there were some huge holes, i have some pics of it somewhere, well anyways I went to pick n pull to get some new doors and i happened upon a 79 truck with full automatic doors

so as i have a 74, no power, anyone have any wiring diagrams? or maybe do you think i could special order from lmc just the wiring part of there power lock and window kit? Each door has three seta of wires going out, i believe one is connecting the two doors for the windows, one is connecting the dorrs for the locks and the other is power, but what do i know? so any help would be appreciated

you just need the wiring for the doors (Runs from door to door, and to the fuse block, up in the dash, and there is a PITA relay mounted to the frame work under the column over by the accelerator pedal), go back to the pick and pull and get it, then it is plug and play

does it matter what year i get the wiring from? my blazer is a 74 and most the vehicles are newer

The harness from the 79 should plug into your 74 I believe they're both the old school glass type fuse styles.
On the 79, there will also be a silver 30amp circuit breaker installed in the fuse block. This is for the power windows and you will need it as well.
make a note of it's location and make sure your fuse block has the proper provisions on it to install the circuit breaker. If not then you will need to get the ENTIRE UNDER DASH HARNESS and swap them out as well.

Sure just get an inline fuse holder and plug a 30amp circuit breaker into it then jumper it off any Ignition sourced circuit. If you've got power D/L's as well they get power from a "BATTERY" source junction on the fuse block, meaning they are powered at all times as where the P/W's are only powered when the key is in the "RUN" position.

It really sounds like you know this stuff like the back of your hand... In my mass stupidity almost a century ago, I pulled all of the wiring out of my 87 when I started a full frame-off. In the course of time, I've lost this wiring. Is there a way I can build my own jumper from door to door, utilizing my own breakers for the Power locks and windows? In the course of the resto I put new doors on the truck, and the harness into the cab had been cut also... Is there a place to see a good wiring diagram for this portion of the electrical system? Aside from the doors, I have absolutely no stock wiring left in the truck, as it's all been converted over to a Painless pro street harness...
