Gold leaf script valve cover. Always wanted to do something like this. Two versions...one has the black highlights.

It adheres with a liquid adhesive that is applied before the gold leaf.

I painted the script black on the second attempt before applying the gold leaf. I will do them later with real gold leaf...using imitation leaf now. The black really makes it pop. I can't wait to see it on the engine.

I should be doing body work but I am running out of room in the garage and now need a big shop!!!! Sometimes you have to take a break and make something pretty and shiny for a change...I get tired of the primer...LOL!

Looks very good.Should be a nice detail you wont see on every other ride at the local cruise.
BTW the typical rainy day project is WET SANDING no bucket needed.
