Random shot

Today after work I was waiting for a green light when all of a sudden a
67 came out of nowhere, I was checking it out for a minute when a 47-54
suddenly joined the party. I had to snap a shot.. None of us are related so that was a random circustance I would think, so I decided to share it with u,,,enjoy

Re: Random shot

Nice catch bud. Now if a 59 or 60 Apache pulled up in the middle of those two that'd be a real nice spread.

Re: Random shot

Ahhh to be in So Cal. Although vintage tin isn't hurtin here in Texas either. Thats funny you posted this pic. I was watching COPS last night and they were in So Cal somewhere. Well they start chasing this stolen Dodge Magnum and what does the camera catch as they are flying down the streets. A 47-53 burb parked on the side of the road. Not restored but a good solid survivor.
I could only imagine how many old vehicle y'all would have if you didn't have all those strict vehicle safety and emissions laws. Not to mention I am sure Kali Gov. finds all types of reasons to take old cars and crush them for the good of the environment.

Re: Random shot

There's not much I miss about OTR trucking except going out west. On the streets you would see old cars and trucks that would be show quality here. Old 50' and 60's Petes and KW's still working everyday. When you got a break in that action then you could check out the Calia girls. I cop a plea, I'm a old man, and a lifelong gearhead thus the order of my list.

Re: Random shot

I have considered for some time now relocating to california just because of the hot rod life style, car shows all the time it just seems awesome. But then I come to my senses and realize how great I have it down here in miami. Well I guess I need to start traveling a bit more to the west coast to enjoy some of the bigger shows..
thanks for sharing the pict!!!! great catch!!

Yes indeed, Santa Cruz is a relly nice place, beautifull girls too! To be honest
special K, all I drive most of the time are my old cars (for pure pleasure) I drive a newer truck but mainly for work purposes.

Thank you all for your comments.

How did we get along in the world before digital cameras and cellphones? Back in the day that would have been seen once and forgotten.

Forgotten for the rests of the world to know, but deep inside we are all truck
lovers, scenes like that stay in your heart! (ok, I admit, I'm a truck
freak) shut up!

Any car/truck 1975 or older is emissions exempt in Calif
