Re: Cheap rim and tire packages

You best bet would be craigslist. Here in Houston I can spend at least an hour scrolling through used rim ads.

Re: Cheap rim and tire packages

Some racing style wheels are fairly cheap,I bought a set of 15" Centerlines once for 500$ out of Summit about 6 years ago.

Re: Cheap rim and tire packages

DEFINITELY go used. Lotsa' people are scraping for money right now before the Christmas season and im sure there are some great deals (the best I have ever seen in used car audio). No one will notice a few scrapes or scratches- as long as they are straight I wouldnt hesitate.

Edit: I forgot to mention to shop around to stores in your area. I found my wheels (15x8" Ultra's) for $90 a piece through a sale. Also, a lot of wheel/tire salespeople work on commission, so dont hesitate to give your negotiation skills a shot.

Re: Cheap rim and tire packages

tires.com I ordered 4 20's MB Wheels with Hankook Ventus tires mounted balanced, centercaps, and lug nuts for $1350 shipped to my door. They have 15" - 22" so you could get a set of smaller wheels and tires for less than a $1000.

Re: Cheap rim and tire packages

I bought 4, brand new 6 lug corvette rally wheels with trim rings and centre caps, 15 X 8 for less than $600 shipped into Canada.

Here is a link to a set of 4 for $299. http://cgi.ebay.ca/15-15x8-Chevy-Cor...1%7C240%3A1318

They may not be the correct bolt pattern (5 x 4.75 ) but if you look around I am sure you will find the same deal on a set for your truck.

Re: Cheap rim and tire packages

I'm old school, but 1k would buy me a set of nice rally wheels, blasted and powdercoated with pretty center caps and rings all wrapped in BFG T/A Radials (white letters out, thank you).
