1964 ratrod heres the story
i found this heap while looking for a motor to replace my old 305tpi in my transam with.. and i saw too much potential there to let this go. so 2 days and 500 dollars later she was mine.

Re: 1964 ratrod heres the story
i picked the truck apart piece by piece. and man was it nasty. so i sandblasted the frame, primed and painted it. replaced all the shocks and new bushings.. by the way that was the 283 i was going to use. until i got my other motor back from the machine shop. the whole front end came off in one piece.. and the fenders and stuff would NOT come off. apparently the PO welded all of it together and put tar everywhere inside it. so i left it together, and will leave it until i can afford new fenders, inners, radiator support, and front valence, or whatever its called i just sanded it down and painted it i didnt want to put any time into it if im just going to replace it in a few months.

Re: 1964 ratrod heres the story
I noticed you took that single plane intake off and replaced it with a dual plane one. Good move for a heavy truck like this.
