ece trailing arm crossmember

has anyone ever installed a carrier bearing in one of the ece dropped crossmembers for the trailing arms. if not how are you long bed guys getting these things to layout without dragging the factory one.

Re: ece trailing arm crossmember

the consensus is to cut the bottom of the stock member flush with the frame and plate it to retain strength. it's also a good time to mod the x-member for the exhaust to pass through.

Re: ece trailing arm crossmember

you can do it, I have one, and was going to install an empire driveline carrier bearing in it. Stan at ECE has also done this on an Overhaulin truck they were part of.
