Rear Dropmember installed picts? Anyone got there's installed yet?

Like the title states. Looking for pictures of the Porterbuilt Rear Dropmember installed. I would like to see some picts with the bed on.

Thanks,
Doug

Lookin the Builds and projects section, N2billet has a thread in there called "point break or tootsie roll". It has lots of pics of it installed.

Don't know of anyone that far along (pics w/a bed on)...... but N2Billets 'Tootsie' has the rear 'clip' installed in the build forum.

Hey Crawdad,... Glad you're making progress!
I'm shifting gears to bag my blazer,... Then back to the Dropmember on the '86.
I need a Goodguys ride for Nashville. I may need some wheels,... so you might be getting a call from me. Post those pics!

Whens the Nashville date? We're looking to do something different in '09 (rather than Ohio). I know N2Billet is trying to have 'Tootsie' (the graduation gift) completed by spring of '09 & I'm cookin' my own brew to join him.

It's been slow progress on the truck, but it's layin' frame on the 22's !! Let me know on the wheels, i can hook you up with a killer deal on some Torque Thrust. Weld is making them for American now so they are a little slow.. but the price is right! Let me know on size ( you have to do 20's !) grey centers? Or if you want the bling,.. Billet Specialties, PM me.

Scoti, Nashville is about two weeks before Columbus, so about the end of June. If you havn't been it's 1/4 the size (about 3,000 cars & trucks) Its alot more laid back, and you dont have to get in line at 5 am to get a spot like Ohio!! That would be cool if you, Keith and the rest of the Texas crew can make it... i need another ice chest to rob anyway!!

Looks like it's June 26-28. I didn't realize the '09 schedule was out. http://www.good-guys.com/events/even...aspx?year=2009

SCOTI,... you should also think about coming to Des Moine, Iowa. (July 4th weekend) Super nice fairground, and alot of shade and buildings. Tons of cars. Bring everyone with you!

Crawdad,... I'll be giving you a call.
I think I'm going to go the the 20" grey centered TTII's. That's why I'm bagging it now. So I have time to get some wheels.

Hey throw a '73 grill in your '77 and tell the Goodguys bunch it's a "late '72" prototype.

Maybe i'll use the fat, dumb and useless plea to get in!!!! Lets do 20x10's w/ 3" backspace, that way you can spend a little $$ with Moser too! We can start a new trend and call it "Semi-Pro Street"

Re: Rear Dropmember installed picts? Anyone got there's installed yet?

here are a few pics of my friends truck I have been helping out with. all he has left to do is install the tranny crossmember , panhard rod and install the new early classics center crossmember and it will lay out very nicely.

Re: Rear Dropmember installed picts? Anyone got there's installed yet?

do you lose any room for the rear tires with this setup? can you still run 10" rims in the rear?

looking really nice!

Thanks Ray

Re: Rear Dropmember installed picts? Anyone got there's installed yet?

i'm sure you cna run a 10" wheel if you have it built to the correct backspacing. the blue truck we did has similar bag placement and has a 20x10. see pics below for reference.
